The Road to IMO
Top performers in the International Mathematical Olympiad National Selection Test (IMONST) are selected to represent their country in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) based on their performance and rankings in the national competition.
The selection process works through scoring and ranking which occurs after the completion of IMONST. Then, participants’ answers to the competition problems are carefully evaluated and scored. Each problem is assigned a specific point value, and participants’ total scores are calculated. These scores are used to rank all participants based on their performance in the competition.
