The camp will be divided into three groups: Junior, Intermediate, and Senior.
CAMP ACTIVITY MODULE
1. Keynote Speech: History and Charm of Math Kangaroo
Dr. Meike Akveld, President of the Association Kangourou sans Frontières (AKSF), will explore the history and charm of Math Kangaroo together with students, creating a “Kangaroo Without Borders” Asian Camp together, aiming to transform mathematics into a bridge connecting the world.

3. Math Challenges: International Competition
Calling all math ninjas! Ready to test your skills against whizzes from around the globe? This camp throws down the gauntlet with individual challenges to unleash your inner math master. But wait, there’s more! Team up with fellow gold medalists to tackle epic problems in a clash of the titans. Will you be the one to claim math glory? This is your chance to shine – gear up, because it’s gonna be legendary!
INDIVIDUAL ROUND
● Showcase your brilliance: Solve time-bound challenges and confidently display your mathematical talents.
● Level up your skills: Hone your independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
● Math in the real world: Discover the practical applications and hidden joys of mathematics in everyday life.
TEAM ROUND
● Form collaborative teams of four with participants from different countries.
● Tackle challenges ranging from problem-solving to puzzles, all within a time limit.
● Develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills for future learning and life challenges.
TEAM ROUND 1
Teams tackle questions together, showcasing their combined strength and teamwork.
TEAM ROUND 2
Crossword Challenge: Teams split in two, conquering clues vertically and horizontally.
GUT ROUND
• Guts Round: Fast-paced team challenge based on the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament.
• Goal: Solve sets of 3 math problems quickly and efficiently.
• Challenge: Teams can only move to the next set after completing the current one.
• Competition: Real-time scoreboard keeps the pressure on!
• Strategy: Brainstorm and collaborate to solve problems quickly.
